The only way fighting Brook would prevent those sort of fights is if he lost. That's the risk a fight with Brook poses and that's exactly why he doesn't want anything to do with him.

If Khan truly believed Brook was "easy work", he'd fight him in June. It's that simple.

Ideally I'd want Khan to fight Brook but If Khans fighting in May the only spot I see open is on the May/Pac undercard.

Man I like Khan but he needs to fight Brook. Its the biggest fight for him and if he wins he'll be the #1 choice for either Floyd or Pac. A June fight is perfect to setup a fall fight against either Floyd/Pac, if he fights another Alexander/Guerrero type fighter he could easily be side stepped and rightfully.

Yeah I get it's a notable fight in England and all but it's quite clear Khan doesn't really need Brook as much as the other way around who can Brook fight that would give him the worldwide audience Khan can unless another name WW decides to go over there , who is Brook going to fight instead.

Assuming he doesn't fight the Mayweather/Pacquiao winner, which he very likely won't, Khan has to fight Brook or it's a duck. It's the best fight he could take besides those two.

Brook IS his get rich fight. He might get more to fight Brook than to fight Mayweather.
