Brook has the belt. NUFF SAID.

Brook will fight Mayweather in September. And Khan will b1tch and moan. And will end up fighting pacquiao, and pacquiao will end his career on a high note after getting beat by Mayweather. By knocking Khan out in rd 1.

Actually, the WW division wouldn't be unified until they fight for Brook's title. That's why I think Brook should fight Thurman, and have that one last belt be uber legit, and leave NO DOUBTS on who the undisputed WW is.

Khan is a nice fighter and all, and I'd have no problems with him being in the mix, but it could be Manny or Floyd's last fight after they face off. Would rather feel like they cleaned out the best of the best, and I think Thurman/Brook are the 2 best WW's besides Manny and Floyd.

If Khan gets cold feet again, Tim Bradley would love to fight Brook in the UK.

It does but he's still a young buck.

Brook is selling out stadiums and his fans would travel. In regards to core fans, it would't be as appealing, but, they would watch I figure. if May or Pac retire with the last bout being a unification that would be huge for the books.

All i'm saying is i would have to see it. Thurman sell out as big venue with him being the main event would make it more palatable for fringe fans... core fans want it, but the money would be with Brook I think.

BUT, it would be a good chance for boxing to get a new superstar once Manny and Floyd leave, and if Thurman or Brook can beat the winner.
True but a majority of fans , core fans and casual would push for Brook Khan more than Thurman Brook. Thurman in a few years will be huge, but Kell, with the fact being he is already selling out crowds. The Khan fight would put that winner over the top for that fight being legit. Fans love rivals, ala Mayweather Pacquiao, that fight would garner more interest. (Brook v Khan)

I'm not talking about popularity or what's actually going to go down. I'm saying that it would be the most legit match up to face the winner of Manny/Floyd. That's why i specifically said it makes too much sense for it to happen.

I guess I should have qualified my post, and said it makes sense in a competitive sense, and not from a network or promoters view point. I totally get where you're coming from though.

UK casuals, Khan/Brook. UK hardcores, Khan/Brook.

US casuals, don't know either. US hardcores, Thurman/Brook.

But in a general sense, I agree with your post.

Your looking at it from a core fan perspective. which in turn makes sense only to core fans, Look at it from the general fans perspective. UK fans and USA general interest would be allot more, the money is with Brook v Khan, not Thurman. UK fans follow Brook in droves, Khan also has interest in the UK and a bit in the US.

Thurman only has a small fan base in the US that consists of CORE fans.

That's the idea. Winner of Pac/May fights the winner of Brook/Khan to become undisputed unified champ. Or alternatively if Floyd wins, Cotto to become lineal/Ring champ in 3 divisions at once in September...Khan/Brook in the spring.

Yeah but don't get me wrong, I would rather see Thurman myself.
