only a few fights ago brooks was unraveling against carson jones, it was life and death for him. getting walked down, jones fighting off the huggy bear stuff!

then he got the benefit of a timely uk stoppage in the rematch - he was fading.!

brooks is pretty cool man but he doesnt know nothing about what rios is bringing , its a formality that rios breaks him down and stops him!!!

yup people forget that type of stuff.

lol he doesnt have the grit to keep rios and break him off.

Rios will win a very late stoppage.

you said khan is more deserving of brooks why lmfao?

and bradley who is exactly as rios except 2 things, Bradley got a gift against Pacquaio Rios didnt, Marquez wasnt scared to fight bradley where he is of Rios.

            lmfao.

Diego chavez has no WIN ON HIS RECORD worth a damn, he gave names a tough time but didnt come out with the W! you dont get credit for losing.

Pssh go sit yo ass down indian style somewhere, men are talking boxing here.
Go check the IBF rankings first before you start spewing your fanboy nonsense! Brandon Rios is not even ranked by the IBF or the ring magazine! How is Brandon Rios deserving of a shot? you have to beat the man to be the man, who did Rios beat at welterweight? the only decent win he has is a DQ robbery against Diego Chavez who outboxed a fat Rios for 8 rounds straight! and Chavez gave bradley, who's the number 3 ranked, a very tough fight and got a draw against him.
Khan beat Collazo and Devon Alexander who was not too long ago the IBF champion.

Rios should have a decent win first before he starts talking about getting a title shot, even he himself didn't call out any of the champions, he knows he still has a way to go, there are at least 6 other welterweights who deserve a shot more than Rios and they beat tough guys at welterweight to get there, you have Keith Thurman, Marcos Maidana (was a champion 1 year ago), Amir Khan, Shawn Porter who was the IBF champion before Brook, Diego Chavez, Sadam Ali and so on. If Rios gets a win against any of these he will be deserving of a title shot, hell if he beats Berto or washed up Oritz I'd be ok with him fighting for a title.

Not a bad match up! Watch rios lightweight title fight with a boxer, as much comparison to brook!.

If your really think that this is easy day for work for brook you should want the fight!

Interesting match up, lets see if brook can contain a moving punching bag!

saddam ali? ali got 1 decent win on his resume has never been anywhere near the competition rios has been in . rios beat Chavez DQ or not while Chavez at #5 in the 1bf while ali # 9 , rios also #5 in wbc. there aint no way sadam is rated higher than rios overall, he is a baby in the game

Rios has a good chin, but he's fought nobody close to the size of Brook.

Pac, Alvarado, Abril...these are all small guys. Alvarado rocked him several times in those first 2 fights. Not only does Brook beat him up, he'll be the first to stop him.

Rios probably gets stopped by Brook. He's taken too much punishment in his career and Brook has the skills and power to chip away at whats left of Rios and send him to sleep by the 10th round.
