Rodolfo Chavez was in the corner of his nephew, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., from 2003 until 2010 - when Julio brought on Freddie Roach as head coach. Nearly five years later, Rodolfo is back in the corner. Chavez Jr. will return on April 18th in California against the Polish light heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara. The head trainer for the fight is Joe Goossen, with Tiburcio Garcia and Vladimir Valdenebro helping out in camp as well. It will be Chavez's first fight since last January. The fight will air on Showtime in the United States and Televisa in Mexico.
