I hear he's extremely good at lifting to, he does this thing in training where he gets into a sitting pull up position with hands on a bench and his feet on a chair. He then let's one of his fans bounce up and down on his lap while he does pull ups. It makes his arms and legs stronger and the fan enjoys the up and down motion.Comment

Duran and Dempsey were users of this tactic as well.
In this video at 5:30 Duran shows feinting and shifting.

Martinez vs. Barker, a great example of a great shift that hurt Barker:

James Toney isnt at the top but he was shifting all the time, and he was doing it really well. I remember Lampley was always saying : "Toney is going southpaw now, oh he's switching back again", Lampley never really understood that Toney was actually shifting.
Toney was also shifting in a defensive manner, he was shifting while going backward and was throwing counter punches in the process, that was really nice to see. God I miss unfat Toney.Comment

Greek K to the TS btw, it's nice to see a thread about techning, this site is just about fanboyism now...
If you guys want to see some of Toney shifting (I dont know how to embbed...)
45min37 mark : Lead right hand by Toney who shifts, making Jirov unable to counter, then sets up a left hook
53min00 shift to close the distance, then on the inside shift back to his regular stanceComment
