The thing is, I'm PR myself but those 2 guys take it to another level. I use to be a big Cotto fan and supporter myself but his diva attitude and the way he handled the Canelo negotiations turned me off.

I hear that. To me, there's no way you'll convince me that Cotto wants the Canelo fight. Let alone GGG. He's had several opportunities to fight the former the last few years. If he eventually fights Canelo, it's because he's kind of forced to. I think he knows he loses and if he had it his way he'd avoid it entirely or save it for last.

it would depend what those comments are. If they are incorrect, I would address them. If they are correct, I leave it alone. I'm a boxing fan first and foremost. I don't "love" any boxer. Do I have some favorite fighters, yes who doesn't, but that doesn't mean I have the blinders on. Again, I have stated my position on the cotto issues.

Care to explain what happened with canelo and cotto after the martinez fight? i would like to hear your perspective.

I can see him taking the Canelo fight so long as he get's off of his high horse and drops the diva attitude. In his mind he's bigger than what he really is and needs to stop acting as if Canelo brings nothing to the table.

They offered 10 million before he became MW champion and beat Sergio Martinez. They shouldn't offer him more than he is worth the first time.

@ Bardock I clearly stated he tried to fight in early December but Freddie was training Manny for Aligieri in November. THEN late Jan they started the talks with Canelo and he ran off with his tail between his legs.

No. I'm saying Cotto didn't want to train in the Philippines and there's no point in paying to train with Roach if he's only with you for 2 or 3 weeks.

He is a top rated MW with belts but Cotto is the lineal champion. The difference is GGG has stated his intent and interest in fighting Cotto many times but Cotto statements are ambiguous in regards to fighting GGG. If Cotto stated his willingness to fight GGG they both could be fighting each other instead of the opponents they are going to fight.

This right here is the truth , GGG has called Cotto out in every interview he ever had , calling him a great champion and being class act about wanting to fight him , you think K2 closed the next fight before getting "Cotto WILL NOT FIGHT GGG next , you can carry on" from Cotto ppl`s ? dont be naive.
