  • Comments Thread For: DeGale: After I Beat Dirrell, I'm Willing To Fight Anyone

James DeGale's world title fight against Andre Dirrell will take place in Boston on May 23.

The super-middleweight is aiming to make history by becoming the first Briton to win Olympic gold and a professional world title.

Standing between DeGale and the vacant IBF belt is an American known as The Matrix, a man whose sole fight to date at world level ended with a split-decision defeat to Carl Froch in Nottingham back in 2009.

Dirrell will have home advantage after the outcome of purse bids spared him a return trip across the Atlantic, and DeGale knows the size of the challenge ahead.

this idiots attitude i sall wrong. when he brought his medal back here, he was all billy big bollocks saying "im goin pro and i want 1 million pound for my signing. he went from household name to house hold shame in a moment.
we fackin hate that here so, if the u.s likes him....keep him because hes a **** and so is his d1ckead trainer.
my advice to them is, dont shoot your holes off without delivering but then, such was his and his 8itch trainers spewing at the mouth, george groves and adam booth rammed it right up both their A holes with their gobby bets.

At this point I'm gonna root for anybody thats not on Al Haymon's roster. DeGale vs GGG would be a good fight.

DeGale's looked solid in his last few fights. I agree with David Haye though, Anthony Dirrell would suit DeGale's style better.

If Ward is looking for someone worthwhile to fight, the winner of DeGale/Dirrell is a great option.

I think if Dirrell win, he would find another reason not to fight Ward. DeGale on the other is a different story.

As long as the two brothers don't win (which is possible) I'd like to see the winner of Groves vs. Dirrell figh the winner of Degale vs. Dirrell.

Would be an interesting fight between any of them.

Wait, is Groves Vs. Dirrell even happening? I assumed it was made at some point but now I think about it I'm not sure
