If boxing only had 10 fighters in a division of course they would be fighting top ranked fighters all the time.

We don't have Contender to watch anymore and we hardly get any All Access/ 24/7. Only happens to come on for supposed mega fights. Ultimate fighter is in season 15 or more and beyond the the ropes is on every week so that goes some way to helping with the build up.

If boxing only had 10 fighters in a division of course they would be fighting top ranked fighters all the time.

Mma in general has tons of fighters and just as much depth... Only the upper echelon fight in ufc, and their top ten is basically the same caliber as fighters in the ring magazine top 10.. Only difference is ufc can make the fights and boxing is a mess.. Cotto-GGG, kovolev-Stevenson, mares-donaire, wlad-fury-wilder, etc, etc

Man this dude Conor Mcgregor had me laughing hard, this is how you build up a fight he is going against Aldo and they had a world tour and still traveling to build up the fight and this is what people want to see, not humble talk when you used to talk **** about someone.


Boxing needs to step it up man, bring some more exciting pre fight pressers and interviews like this.

Its a shame in boxing its only the trainers hyping the fights like Roach, Angel Garcia, Ruben Guerrero, Floyd sr. Fighters need to step up and bring some personality and trash talk to sell the fights, I hope PBC does this and puts some one on ones, HBO had a good one with Face off but they didnt do one for Mayewather Pacquiao, and Mayweather mysteriously became a school boy during the Pac presser we expected fireworks and **** talk.

Yet the boxing event will sell over 3 million ppv's and the ufc fight won't Crack a million.

Ufc is dead. Their best fighters don't even make a million dollars for a fight. Their ppv's never Crack a million homes.

where as you got guys like Adrien broner making a million on the regular. And he hasn't even fought on ppv before

I will always love boxing more than any other sport. That said, I agree boxing has better quality fighters but if they dont make fights whats the point in having them?
I mean UFC had an up and rising star in showtime pettis and they threw him against a guy who was probably the only1 in the divison who could beat him. And guess what? he did. Not a good example, Don Frye is also a boxer, he trained in boxing for years before getting into MMA, his grandpa was a bantamweight boxer, Frye wrestled and boxed and took up Judo. Plus he was drunk so bad in this video he was slobbering and wobbling even before he was punched just wasted.

Old man Sonny Westbrook is tough and has some great hands man, but he got Don Frye when Frye was wasted off his rocker, Frye is a tough SOB too, he wasn't even hurt and still standing he has one of the best chins in all combat sports.
