No matter what happens against Tarver he has a great career and gave the fans a dominant one weight class champion which is something you don't see in this day and age.He made 20 successful defences of his middleweight title beating fighters such as Trinidad, DLH, Eastman, and Joppy in the process.Dominating Tito, being the first to ko DLH, and laying a beatdown on Joppy.Thanks for memories B-Hop.

No respect for Hopkins at all, after what he did to the boricua flag...*** HIM. He said *** the american cancer society wen he was suppose to sign autographs for them after his Taylor fight cause hes a sore loser,by the way Taylor went and signed the autographs. And Hopkins broke a promise to his dead mom saying he wouldnt fight past January 15th of this year. Hopkins is an as$hole.

ive got some of Hops early fights on DVD- he was a brawler back then, he wasnt a counterpuncher

I think Hopkins fight career is one with different covers. I remember when I first heard of Hopkins and seeing him fight I was excited to seeing him fight again. Then I remember anticapting his fight on usa networks against Bo James and Hopkins performance was such a let down againt James. Then I remember him again against Segundo Mercado and Mercado won, then Hopkins came back to win. Not all his fights were good to watch but he does have some good fights, his second fight with Antwon Echols was also a good showing too.

One thing that got me mad was that he didn't stand their and fight with Trinidad and Delahoya as he said he was going to do, but he boxed them, and beat the with sweet science. Im not sure if/when he beats Tarver if he'll retire or not. And thats ****ed up if thats true about the american cancer socity. Credit to Hopkins for being around for so long and being succesfull.

I love B-Hop but I don't even think that he should be fighting this fight with Tarver. He isn't good enough anymore. Give it up man
