Comments Thread For: Audley Harrison Officially Announces Retirement

Audley Harrison MBE has announced his retirement. Harrison posted a statement on his website, www.audleyharrison.com, earlier today confirming his decision. Harrison, 31-7 (23), turned pro with a single stanza demolition of Mike Middleton in May 2001. However, his career moved slowly and the BBC eventually tore up his contract. [Click Here To Read More]

It's a pity he just didn't have the talent to go with his mouth. Probably one of the most endearing sportsmen in the history of the World. The man constantly gave some of the best most inspiring interviews of all time. If Ali said the same they would have become the stuff of legends. But alas, Audley was never really able to establish himself as a true top 30 HW at any point in his career.
