A lot of people don't think he hits as hard, but he does have good power the way he throws his punches," Shane Mosley. Him and Mayweather hit about the same. Saul Alvarez has great power but Mayweather has good power too.

Manny is a great fighter but when you look at the trouble he had with the counter-punching style of Juan Manuel Marquez, he could be in serious trouble with Floyd Mayweather,Hatton, now a boxing promoter, told Tom Gray of The Ring.

    De La Hoya
Pacquiao is generally thought to have more concussive power than Mayweather, but De La Hoya said the two boxers "are about the same."
I saw a video on Mosely talking about his fights with Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Canelo. I think he said Floyd and Canelo punch about the same but that there is something different about Manny's punches...or something like that.

I'm not sure what to take from the guys that fought them but all I know is that you can see the effects from Pacquiao's punches than you can from Floyd's. It's why I don't buy into this "Floyd is the stronger guy" kind of talk that's been brought up for this fight. I sure can't tell.

Just becuz Floyd doesn't go in for the kill after his opponent is hurt doesn't mean he can't. He goes in for the skill not the kill. The S on the kill stands for smarts. Btw, curious to see what plan B PAC has when his bum rush doesn't work & he's hurt. no plan B with Marquez, he walk thru Algerie, Rios, & feather-fist Bradley.

People look pissed when they are tagged by Floyd, they look scared when tagged by Pac. I could care less what they say, the expressions on there faces cuts through all the BS.

Most of Floyd's opponents were never hurt bad enough for him to go for the kill, that's why he just sticks to his "skill". Floyd has shown that if that does happen, however, he will go for it. Just look at the Hatton fight. But lately, that hasn't happened for obvious reasons.

Also, Pacquiao didn't just "walk thru" Algieri, Rios, or Bradley. He fought and boxed smartly with controlled aggression. I'm curious what would Floyd's reaction be when he feels Pacquiao's punches.
