The WBC featherweight champion, Canadian boxer Jelena Mrdjenovich (34-9-1-18 KO) will defend her crown against Colombian Francia Elena Bravo (19-4-2-9 KO). The Canadian firebrand, who's already in Panama, attended a lively press conference along with her rival, prior their clash of this Friday.
The fight will be staged at the Sortis Hotel Spa & Casino, in Panama.
“I know Francia is good opponent, who likes to apply pressure. And that's just the kind of fighter I like to fight against. I am predicting it will one helluva fight,” Mrdjenovich enthused.
On the other hand, Francia commented: “Jelena is a great champion, but I am going to leave everything in the ring to get that crown. “
