Sillakh fits your description pretty well, and ended up badly knocked out. There is no one style to beat Kovalev, you simply have to be better than him and have a rock solid chin while doing so because he will touch you no matter what kind of defense you have.
He countered Hopkins when Bhop was lunging forward throwing a punch. Kovalev got a really hard time the whole fight cutting the ring and trapping Hopkins. You guys talk like Kovy is dancing in the ring like Ali.

The "Russian style" doesn't rely on dancing in the ring... You should have learned that by now... But who am I to teach you -- I'm new in boxing...

The only one mentioning Kovalev's footwork in this tread was you saying he was "slow and robotic". You're a ****ing joke man.

During the first 3 rounds, Kovalev hit hard Pascal on his left ear, temple and top of the head... In the 3rd he dispatched Pascal with three-four such surgical punches... Then Kovalev stopped, because he knew Pascal was toasted already...

Hopefully Pascal recovers. Looking forward to his next fight.

He's not owning up to the fact that it was Kovalev's punches which put him in that imbalanced, blurred-vision state. It's ridiculous. It's like saying, "Yeah, if I hadn't somehow gotten my ass kicked, I could have won the fight."
This is a very wreckless post to say the least . If ur reading comprehension wasn't so substandard , you'd realize that what Pascal actually said was in quotations while the latter was journalistic inference/interpretation . Pascal said that the injuries were sustained in the 3rd round which means he's professing that these injuries were the results of Kovalev's punches . Blurry vision is just one symptom of being concussed . He's confessing Kovalev fu.ked him up , but ur so quick to take someone to the woodshed , u completely missed it . Media people take things out of context all the but in this instance it seems pretty easy to figure out , for some people at least ! Anyone with two brain cell to rub together would realize that ur not going to confess that u sustained these injuries during the fight and then in the same breath say it wasn't Kovalev who did it ??? Do u have ANY deductive reasoning skills ? Misprints and words taken out of context r very common in the media and clearly this is an example of it .

Pascal's defense is so pathetic. Every time he got rocked his hands were down.

I have to disagree that Kovalev just stopped to extend the fight. While Pascal may have made excuses later, he fought his ass off and actually hurt Kovalev a few times. It was definitely Krusher's toughest fight to date. If anything, Kov was being a little careful because of Pascal's determination to throw counters.

should have took a knee idiot,

should have took a million knees and never got seriously hurt and just keep steady tagging kovalev with your awkward style, cause you was getting to him. You never know what would have happened that way.
