Why are people taking this as an excuse? He just stating facts and really it should be a compliment to Kovalev's power and how he throws punches. I definitely buy what Pascal is saying here... he had a glaze in his eyes earlier than I've ever seen in any of his fights. I wanna say it was like the first round.

This is a very wreckless post to say the least . If ur reading comprehension wasn't so substandard , you'd realize that what Pascal actually said was in quotations while the latter was journalistic inference/interpretation . Pascal said that the injuries were sustained in the 3rd round which means he's professing that these injuries were the results of Kovalev's punches . Had he said they were pre-fight injuries that then would have been an attempt to extract credit from Kovalev . Blurry vision is just one symptom of being concussed . He's confessing Kovalev fu.ked him up , but ur so quick to take someone to the woodshed , u completely missed it !Comment

i think pascal has the more skill of the two, but kovalev had the more discipline, better game plan, and his power behind that can make u look ordinary if ulack the ability to adjust long term...I really saw nothing thatmade pascal change how he was fighting in the 7th from how he was in the 5th and 6th when he was losing..i think he just didnt have the composure to keep it up..i really think a mayweather type fighter would have owned the fight from that point on with kovalav....i fear that if kovalev cant set up his jab he has not shot beating ppl at a high level.Comment

Using the soulder roll is also about controlling distance you simple minded dum b f/8k. You think Floyd would stay there in the rope like Pascal waiting for a guy like Kovalev to hit him at will. Did you begin to watch boxing this year ? (lol I already know you will tell me youve been watching boxing since 1942).Comment

... Kovalev actually finished Pascal in the 3rd... But as I predicted, Kovalev wanted to make the most from fighting a top guy like Pascal (a rare opportunity) -- therefore Kovalev wanted to take as many rounds as possible... But because Pascal began to "act naughty" (i.e. during the 5th and the 6th rounds), the Russian cut the story short...Comment
