Leonard Ellerbe, adviser to WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs), has denied a circulating rumor that Floyd was knocked down in sparring by former two-division champion Zab Judah.
Last week, Floyd's uncle Jeff Mayweather revealed details of the sparring session between the two fighters, and said Floyd put a one-sided beating on Judah. Jeff later apologized for making those comments, stating in a video that he didn't know his statements would be printed.
