Leonard Ellerbe, adviser to WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs), has denied a circulating rumor that Floyd was knocked down in sparring by former two-division champion Zab Judah.

Last week, Floyd's uncle Jeff Mayweather revealed details of the sparring session between the two fighters, and said Floyd put a one-sided beating on Judah. Jeff later apologized for making those comments, stating in a video that he didn't know his statements would be printed.

The Judah knockdown story was copied and pasted from the Canelo knockdown story last year. I mean, down to his reaction, the punch, what he did after, etc.

Just like Jeff shouldn't have said what he said about the Judah sparring. Ellerbe shouldn't have said what he just said either. Neither statement serves a point and truth about either will never be truly known unless Floyd or Zab lets it be known or some how a video of the sparring comes out.

Only way Judah drops him is if Floyd pays Judah to carry him around. That makes more sense.
