    Anthony Mundine is grossly underrated

First of, no, I'm not trying to make him out to be some elite level A+ boxer. Because he certainly isn't. But he is always trying to fight the best opponents, he is always exciting in the ring and he does have some pretty okay wins.

Danny Green, Sam Soliman, Shane Mosley, Sergey Rabchenko, Daniel Geale, etc.

I look forward to his fight against Austin Trout and I really hope that Mundine wins the fight. It would be good for boxing, although I know that this will be a hard fight. One that people should look forward to.

My point is, people should stop talking like Mundine is a horrible boxer. He got a few losses, but research them and understand the circumstances. His worst loss was against Manny Siaca early in his career, but he has since then beaten far better opponents than Siaca.

People need to keep in mind that Trout at least deserved a draw against Canelo. This could be a huge win for Mundine.

From my understanding he was one of the highest paid players in the whatever equivalent they have for NFL down there for Rugby and switched at this peak to boxing with only 9 previous amateur bouts. He isn't a HW, so being huge alone won't get you far, which it can (Valuev).

He won the WBA SMW title twice and beat some good names. So, he is certainly under appreciated/rated.

It's nice to see others appreciate his accomplishments.

Probably. I never heard of any other, but then again I don't watch team sports.

The only other one I know is Alistair Overeem simultaneously holding K1 HW title (Kickboxing) and Strike Force (MMA) HW belt, which can arguably be called a World championship because they were a force in the MMA business especially for HW division. However, there is an overlap.

Rugby and Boxing are vastly different.

The Ottke loss came early in his career and was a massive step-up. Ottke wasn't great, but a huge deal for a boxer with almost no experience.

Losing to ottke isn't the problem, getting ko'd by him is.

Well, he went 12 hard rounds with Kessler later, confirming his chin is solid. Even Froch could be KO'ed by a featherfist if hit in the wrong way.
