Mundine isn't horrible but he is a C level boxer, the Mosley win should never be used to big Mundine up. Horrible spectacle.First of, no, I'm not trying to make him out to be some elite level A+ boxer. Because he certainly isn't. But he is always trying to fight the best opponents, he is always exciting in the ring and he does have some pretty okay wins.
Danny Green, Sam Soliman, Shane Mosley, Sergey Rabchenko, Daniel Geale, etc.
I look forward to his fight against Austin Trout and I really hope that Mundine wins the fight. It would be good for boxing, although I know that this will be a hard fight. One that people should look forward to.
My point is, people should stop talking like Mundine is a horrible boxer. He got a few losses, but research them and understand the circumstances. His worst loss was against Manny Siaca early in his career, but he has since then beaten far better opponents than Siaca.
Mundine was an OK fighter Green and Geale are good wins, delusional sometimes but an OK fighter. Trout will beat him up, an over the hill Clottey managed to do so, Trout should be able to do that same.
His loss against Ottke is a bit embarrassing, not that he lost because had it gone to the cards he would've been robbed even if he was winning but that he got stopped.Comment

His chin is worse than glass and he can't pull the trigger at all anymore. He used to try and imitate Roy Jones in his earlier days but was never as good.First of, no, I'm not trying to make him out to be some elite level A+ boxer. Because he certainly isn't. But he is always trying to fight the best opponents, he is always exciting in the ring and he does have some pretty okay wins.

Still a great accomplishment for a cross over star, the emphasis on cross over. The Regular belt is still a recognized World championship, like it or not and no I don't condone it. I never said he is a demolition machine to begin with. Not to mention he has beaten decent names: Soliman, Green and Geale (unbeaten). What world title did he "win"? You mean the vacant WBA Super middleweight title vs soliman? That wasn't even the "real" title. LMAO the real title was the WBA Super World Super middleweight title... kessler had that one then lost it to calslappy. Nice try tho
Might as well say that Keith thurman is the WBA welterweight champ too!!! Oh wait
I'm honored that you have my quote in your sign. Are you still going to the Ward fight?

I always quite liked watching Mundine, although he has been in a few stinkers but this is a guy with very little boxing background who went on to become a world titlist with a legitimate world body. He is far from the shod people make him out to be.Comment

Mundine is an underachiever. Who cares about "crossing over"? Once you're a boxer, that's all you are, and Mundine is just average. He's never come close to being "the champ" or even a top rated contender to even fight the champ.Comment
