Eddie Hearn believes that the long-anticipated domestic showdown between IBF Super bantamweight titlist Carl Frampton and WBA World holder Scott Quigg could be signed, sealed and delivered in time for a summer date. Both boxers have expressed a desire to prove who is the best in the U.K. and a meeting is due to take place in London later today to iron out some of the finer details.
“It's the fight everyone wants to see two world champions from Britain in the same division,” said Hearn when speaking to the Daily Mail. “They simply have to fight. The hope is for a summer fight, possibly on June 20. I think we need to reach an agreement soon, probably the next two or three weeks.”
