Comments Thread For: Frampton-Quigg Discussions Continue For Summer Clash

EDDIE HEARN and Barry McGuigan will meet in London on Wednesday to continue talks for a clash between Scott Quigg and Carl Frampton.

IBF super-bantamweight champion Frampton, 28, is keen for a chance to take on long-term rival Quigg, who holds a version of the WBA belt.

Hearn and McGuigan have been at loggerheads over a deal for the fight with TV being the main stumbling point. Frampton’s manager McGuigan wants the fight to take place on terrestrial TV to get as much exposure as possible.

Hearn looking to fleece the fans, what else is new? At this rate there'll be 3, possibly 4 PPV events on Sky this summer.

On another note, it has to be Manchester or Belfast for this fight for atmosphere.

Oul Eddie trying to call the shots. Pipe down son! Wrap some chips up in that paper title of his and sit down.

The only ppv I'm buying is May-pac, sky's boxing content is a joke and Hearn is the reason. The worst thing sky done was give him a monopoly on boxing.

          Good fight.

Hopefully the winner fights Rigo or moves up to 126 to fight Leo.
