the WBOgus is the worst major title....If it wasn't for Chris Eubanl, Nigel Benn, and Dariusz Michaelcewski it would have absolutely no notoriety



The 3 major players are working on unifying all the divisions in the next few years so who will really care about who holds that fringe belt anyway

I think you gotta understand the WBO's point of view... they would want their wbo champ to unify with the "full" wba champ not the "regular" champ.

boxing orgs are worthless. they have no say in boxers money so no power.

rather have a TOP RANK, GBP, PREMIER BOXING belts.

or HBO, SHOWTIME, ESPN champion.

you know they have a say in what boxers do.

delahoya, hamed, barrera made it a major belt in the 90's.

Hamed actually cleaned out his division before being stripped of it....De La Hoya and Barrera are great fighters but their WBO title fights had their worst opponents they fought for titles

The WBO refuses to go to those meetings that the WBC, WBA, and IBF go to. The WBO should just be replaced by the IBO as a main sanctioning body.
