For a guy that was clowned 2 fights ago by Clottey and got knocked out by a pillow puncher years ago he sure talks a lot. Ladies and gentlemen, meet the guy that instead of moving up in weight, moves down in weight. A former 168 title holder now fighting at 154, what a joke. What i really find hilarious is that this clown said he wanted to fight Mayweather

You're not telling the full story, when Mundine fought Ottke he'd only had ten pro fights and no amateur background, Ottke had 308 amateur fights and was in his 25th pro fight and 12th world title defence. Mundine was well ahead on points he was schooling the far more experienced Ottke when he was caught with a temple shot late in the 10th. That fight showed what a special talent Mundine was and Ottke wanted nothing to do with a rematch. No shame in losing to the younger Clottey, one of the great welterweight world champs in an era that had Mayweather, Pacquio, Mosley, Cotto and Margarito. Pacquio has lost 5 fights, 2 to absolute nobodies, how do you rate him? The reason he goes down in weight is because he was an elite Rugby League player until age 25. That sport requires bulk (force =mass x acceleration) he played around 185
lb he represented his state and country and was the highest paid player in the NRL for years, he's Australia's Bo Jackson. If he was always a boxer he'd be career 154lb.

Yes someone is not telling the full story.

Sven Ottke - 34 wins - 6 by knockout. Six!

Basically Ottke has no knuckles. To be brutally KO'd by such a powder-puff fighter shows how worthless mundine truly is.

Joshua Clottey would have been a much better opponent for Trout.

            Hi Anthony. Nice posting
Look Mundine has some talent but is pretty much full of s#@* and everyone knows it. He almost won me as a fan against Kessler when he showed some guts but since then has turned into Mr Where-is-my-payday. It was amazing that he managed to hang with Ottke and even won the early rounds. But be serious, he was gassed coming up to the knockout and had so obviously shot his bolt. I had him one round behind when he went for a canvass nap. It was only getting worse. Now i have watched that fight many, many times. Anyone that says he was way ahead on points and schooling Ottke dont know S#%@* about boxing. hahah

So you're saying that Mundine in just his 11th fight, up against Ottke the world champ and world #1 who'd had 308 amateur fights, a pro record of 25-0 including 12 world title fights, that Mundine won the early rounds and after nine rounds there was just a round in it? Fact is, if you disregard the 2 points Mundine lost in the 4th for headbutting and score the fight on boxing skill alone, Mundine was in fact in front after 9, he had outpointed Ottke, and thats in Germany, Ottke's homeland where he had won some dubious decisions. This is a phenomenal effort from a man with just 10 fights against the divisions #1 boxer for the last 3 years. I looked up some of the greats to see who they fought in their 11th bout, Mayweather, Pacquio, Canelo, Mosley and Tyson they all fought tomato cans with more losses than wins. My hyperbole was designed to get a Mundine hater to tell the truth, thanks for taking the bait, you got played.

Wouldn't be surprised if Mundine won. Trout really isn't good.
