Comments Thread For: DeGale: When Time is Right, I Could Fight Golovkin

Olympic gold medal winner James DeGale expects big things to come with a victory over Andre Dirrell.

DeGale and Dirrell have been ordered to face each other for the vacant IBF super middleweight title which Carl Froch vacated earlier this year. A purse bid was recently held, and it was won by Warriors Boxing, who submitted the winning bid on behalf of Dirrell's manager Al Haymon.

Traveling to America is getting DeGale excited, because it opens up the door for other potential fights - and one of them is a meeting down the line with IBO/WBA/WBC-interim middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin.

GGG would kill Degale on the ropes.

And Degale's slappy punches would do nothing to slow down the execution.

I pay to watch this, happily.

DeGale dares utter the words Geroge Groves and Carl Frcoh dare not mumble to themselves. Muchos respect. GGG is the candy man of the middle weights.

Right now, im tired of guys name dropping Golovkin. Either fight him, or shut up.

He's got a bit of a slappy technique but i wouldnt sleep on his power. His left hand is good
