I don't see why Thurman would want that fight. Not only are they longtime friends, but Thurman has already defeated two fighters that whooped Berto in Guerrero and JSK. So fighting Andre Berto would be a big step back in his career.

The only possible and semi-intriguing match up would be a rematch with Ortiz, they could throw that on a double header NBC card and it'd get good ratings.

I wouldn't mind seeing him get KO'd by Thurman, Spence, or Danny Garcia. If I had my choice I'd let Errol Spence get that name on his resume so that he can be put in the mix at welterweight. I really think Spence is a good fighter with loads of potential. No matter who he loses to Berto can always rematch Ortiz or Lopez.
