If that's the case, then I'll just go ahead and say, Cotto's fight is on PPV because his handlers want to milk him for all he's worth before he gets KO'd like almost did against Corley and Torres. Now, while I dont believe that, I just said it because you're being biased in favor of your boy. If Cotto was fighting a top notch fighter, like Mayweather, Hatton, Castillo....etc, then I'd definently buy that PPV, because I'm a fan of Cotto.

no doubt its hopkins vs tarver
will hopkins be able to take a shot from tarver?
can hopkins use his ring savy to beat tarver?
tarver on the jim rome show said that hes gonna bet 250,000$ that he will knockout hopkins within 6 rounds.

It's clear they're pushing him to PPV so quickly to squeeze out as much money as possible in what they see as a short career because of his chin. It's SO clear.

Why do you think Reid was put in against Trinidad (and almost beat him) so early in his career? His eye couldn't take punishment and neither can Cotto's chin.

It's a little bit with Pauli too, but definately Cotto. He isn't as good as HBO said he was so now they put on the career boosters to get as much possible money out while he still has the novelty of the unbeaten record. Once he loses, he's no longer a prospect and up and comer, but just another boxer.

Yes, Reid laid the blueprint to beating Tito... boxing him.

Like I said already, that was Bob Arum ONLY chance to have the fight that date, cuz it was already taken for the Nard-Tarver fight. And they are doing a great job with the undercard, Also I think the PPV is like $39 against $50 to see a snoozer...

Let's just agree that neither should be on PPV, but at least one involves a definite hall of famer.

The ONLY reason that he's a "legend" is cuz he held the middle weight title for 10+ years and the number of defenses that he did. Not cuz he was one exciting fighter or had great fights...

Probably the dumbest, most ignorant comment of the week. Congratulations.

You tore down Hopkins while praising Cotto. See a problem with that?

                    Probably don't.
