Khan-Brook is a summer open-air venue, can't really do that late in the UK year due to weather.
Stateside its a bigger fight, and much more high profile, and keeps Khan in the running's for Pac/Floyd

I honestly think Khan is waiting for that result before he decides to fight Brook

After May he will know what he wants to do, this is his last shot at getting that fight

A bigger fight in the states than here, definitely. Khan-Brook on the UK is much bigger than Khan-Broner in the US though.

I think it comes down to Broner being a light puncher at 147 and a much easier fight to win. However, I don't think beating Broner at this stage helps you get a mega fight.

Broner is not light puncher, Maidana said Broner hits fairly hard.

The question will be if he can land that punch

It doesnt take much to hurt Khan, Broner has more than enough power to put Khan down

While it does not guarantee Khan the mega fight between the winner of Floyd and Pac, it still keeps his name in the mix. Broner is known by casual fans and has been on a winning streak, if Khan can dominate Broner and beat him convincingly, it'd be a good win on his resume and might just land him that Floyd fight

Although Pac vs Khan will be a easier fight to make happen

Like i said Khan isnt going to jump in with Brook, unless he is 100% sure his Floyd/Pac dream is over

Broner hasn't had a stoppage victory since Gavin Rees, down at lightweight. Guys like Paulie have said he's not a hard hitter. His power looks average at best above 135.

He also can't throw power shots without being planted, has terrible footwork, a leaky defence and very poor workrate. To me it is a very easy fight for any solid WW.

I just don't get people giving Brook stick for not fighting the likes of Khan, when it's because Khan doesn't currently want the fight.

Well some boxers have said Broner hits hard, everyone has a different pain threshold

Nevertheless lesser men have dropped Khan, so Broner is more than capable

Broner is a tough kid, he'll hang in there waiting to land a left hook, Khan will have to be on his A Game. Anything less and Khan could lose.

I am looking at it from Khans prospective. Brook is a dangerous opponent, and there is more at stake for Khan, be it a personal grudge, the british public, the pressure is on Khan. He will be booed into the ring

Whereas with Broner, its in the US, less pressure on him and he is still in the runnings for the Floyd/pac winner

Khan will not make any hasty decisions until he is sure the Pac/Floyd ship has sailed. After that he will fight Brook.

              Great win for Brook.

Despite the poor opponent he looked great

Well maybe if he doesn't face Khan he should fight someone like Thurman, Maidana or Bradley, heck Broner would be the best on his resume bar Porter.
