Hard hitting Cuban light heavyweight Sullivan Barrera is growing frustrated by his inability to land a top level opponent. The former amateur standout is willing to put his unblemished record on the line against any of the top contenders in his division.

"I'm losing my patience trying to get a big fight. I know my manager and my promoter Main Events are doing their best and are keeping me busy but I want to make my move this year," said Barrera.

Barrera's team has tried to get him fights with other undefeated light heavyweights with no success.

this experience he speak of didnt help umberto savgine any...but i understand him..he wants the best now..and i see how fighters who are old as most cubans want to hop right in..there is not motivation in jeff lacey type guys until its to late and you knocked out..training cost good money u cant train good if u cant pay good...pretty much sometimey training and age is going to kick a mans ass..and it did to umberto imo...even more over u cant be well managed if u dont have the money to do so..u might be dropping to much weight and not have the team to tell u

great fighter, too bad he's with main events unless they work with haymon consider it a lost cause id love to see him in there with a chilemba or beterbiev, monaghan is a hype job top rank will protect him till they have too.
