Why wasn't Canelo able to do what Maidana did in the first Mayweather fight?

With this I believe if Pac realizes that Mayweather can punch, the Marquez's KO will replay on his mind, and he will be a lot hesitant in there, allowing Floyd to pick him off.

Khan didn't need Tyson and Hearn power too deal with chino

Going into the May Vs Canelo fight, I expected that it would look alot like May Vs Maidana 1, with the younger, bigger, fighter pressing the action.
Instead it looked like Canelo was way out of his league.

Was it a simple styles make fights issue, or is Maidana a better overall inside fighter? Maybe better cutting off the ring than Canelo?

Or was Floyd just lacking on the night of May Vs Maidana 1?
Styles make fights, Canelo tries to box a bit but can be robotic so Floyd found it easy to outbox him and pick him off.

Maidana is a completely different fighter, he doesn't try to box or think about it as much, just gets stuck in and goes for it, tries to rough his opponent up and give them a hard time and above all else has absolutely no respect for his opponent. Obviously he comes with a gameplan but his main plan is to rough you up.

The maidana that fought Mayweather in the rematch, is far more dangerous.
I've been trying to tell people.. Maidana will ultimately destroy Pacquiao, the Maidana that fought Floyd both times, is the most dangerous.

Trying to equate Maidana to a Rios is ignorance to the highest extent, especially considering how Maidana was actually WBA champion and have a much better resume.

Anyway the Ref wasn't much of a factor in that fight until Maidana started getting dirty in the 2nd half. Maidana had ample amount of time in the fourth round to take Mayweather out without the ref stepping in.

Canelo also would destroy Pacquiao.. Pacquiao is able to be hit and not a counter puncher on Mayweather's level.

You ******s are the worst thing to happen to the boxing world, double digit IQ morons. You only hype Maidana because Floyd struggled with him. And Maidana's resume really isn't so good. He is Rios level.

                  Maidana - Broner - Malignaggi - Senchenko - Nuzhnenko
