    Good one.

      This is very true.

Wouldn't surprise me if Marquez really said that mutt comment. I hear ignorant stuff like that all the time when I hang out with paisa Mexicans. Either way, the dude drank his own pee so it's not like he got much respect from anyone in the first place.

When Oscar choose to ride his bicycle and run/shoe shine for 12 rounds vs Trinidad in what was, at that time, the biggest fight in years. Although I think Oscar "won" the bout with his ****ty non-pleasing tactics, I still didn't mind the judges awarding Trinidad the fight -at least he showed up with balls intact.

Also, Oscar's best supporting actor bid vs Hopkins over that liver shot ko. Not saying a kidney shot can't be a ko -we all know better, but c'mon Oscar, everyone knew you took a dive. It looked so fake.

And while we're at it, Oscar's drag/panty photos... Hey, at least he was in the company of a lady when they were taken (supposedly). Still, I'm so tired of this denying, ever grinning, idiotic persona that he's somehow decided the public wants and cannot see through -"the golden boy." Yeah, sure.

Having written all of this, I'm still an Oscar fan, but I recognize the scent of bull**** when I smell it.

My father intended to name me John after his uncle John Davis. So when I was born this Mexican witch came in to my mother's hospital room to document my name. When my mother told her I was to be named John, she responded in Spanish "Why do you want to name him John if he's Mexican? You should name him Juan". And wouldn't you know the low life scum took it upon herself to document my name as fucking Juan!!?? LOL! So....... know what I tell Mexicans who dislike that I'm Chicano? I tell them my grandmother was English/Welsh/Irish and tell them how proud I am of my English heritage and that the English whupped the Spaniards' asses! Got damn that really gets them hot!!! LOL! **** 'em! Oh, JMM saying that was ******er than drinking piss. Haha, Oscar in his prime woulda whupped his ass.

40 of my friends went to go see Barrera vs Paquiao 1. My friends went out there to see Barrera, they saw him somewhere and asked him if they can take pictures with him, and he said no they were like cool.

They saw Paquiao they asked him if he would take a picture with them and said he'll yeah, they took the picture with Pac and all of them were rooting for Pac and were happy Pac knocked his a## out, its plain and simple they hate for no reason. Whether you like it or not there is a rivalry between Mexico and Chicanos.

I'm born here in the states and raised most of my school life in culiacan so I know what you mean but I'm not sure it's "hate". It's not just mexico. I've seen it in russian friends born in the states, even rican and other races. The people from the actual country almost never consider you as one of them in that sense (from my experience). If you're born in the states and basically raised here you're american. You're not from there and thats the reality whether we like it or not.

There is a rift between chicanos and "paisas" but it's not new and everyone knows. All the chalino, tacos, cheladas in the world won't make us FROM there just because our parents are. There's nothing wrong with being familiar with your heritage or being raised that way in another country but the sense of entitlement is also too strong. We want to live a nice anerican lifestyle and we get mad when another person living in said country tells us we're from America when we are? Know why all these "white" people almost never say they're "irish american", "italian american", "german american", etc? Because no one there considers them from there! When I'm outside the country, overseas, etc I'm american to everyone, not just mexico. In the service and overseas I was never flagged down as some mexican dude. Funnily enough, only the people from america consider you mexican. Same for other races. "Oh that one russian guy" or "the cuban dude". It's not hate, it's the truth. When a paisa or whatever has described me as chicano or gabacho, etc it's not of hate. we're just being pu ssies because we feel excluded in America or something, I dunno.

Anyhow, as far as Barrera rejecting 40 of your friends? Come on bro. Wtf thats 40 people lol. I doubt they got rejected for being "chicano". Not just that but these guys are fighters. Why do we expect them to be super nice people?

Speaking of mexican fighters I've never really heard/known of Barrera, Morales, JMM, or even Chavez Sr and Jr as being particularly "sweet" men. I've heard Arce is pretty friendly and outgoing and that Canelo is fairly pleasant and maybe a bit serious. Honestly, who cares?

Be proud of being American. In many of our cases with foreign parents, they worked too hard for us to be american. Nothing wrong with also being proud of your parents heritage/culture/where they come from and embracing it as your own but it doesn't mean we are from there... That's my opinion lately. Don't take offense.

OP, did you not see what Judah did to Floyd in the fight prior? The last person you should feel sorry for in that situation is Judah, karma is a *****. What Mares did to Agbeko was assault, I've never been so pissed off watching a fight I never even get mad watching fights. I was like livid watching that, **** Mares and his fans ever since that fight. I can't wait to see him get sparked again.
