Maybe they could get Lucas Browne over here too. It'd look better on TV. Two undefeated heavyweights. America vs Australia, however they'd market it.

Unless Andy Ruiz is ready for a championship fight, he's #8 in the WBC.

I'm sure they will save Browne, or fury for later down the road.. I think for the first fight it will be someone ranked but not threatening... They want to introduce wilder to casuals and grow his name before he takes any major fights..
Browne-wilder would be a sweet fight

I have a feeling it's going to be an American opponent.

Thompson, Tarver, Mansour, and Arreola are all on Haymon's list.

Best fight for Wilder, To tune himself up for a Klitschko?

A low risk, high reward fight. Eurobum Tyson Fury.

I think it will be Seth Mitchell. They don't want to risk Wilder looking bad (ala being David Priced by Thompson) and they don't want the opponent to be some chubby old guy either. Casuals won't care about records so long as the opponent looks like a body builder ... worked for Mike Tyson.

Ofcourse CBS wants Wilder. He's a potential major star, A cash cow for any network.

His fight with Klitschko will be the biggest HW fight since Tyson V Lewis

Is Seth even making a comeback? I spoke to him about a year ago, and he was seriously considering retirement from the sport.

It's terrible for any type of card tbh, TT is in his 40s, the man who is calling himself the future of the division should not be wasting time defending his belt against the likes of TT.

The fights just sound uninteresting but Thompson is a top 10 heavyweight right now. Fury and Glazkov are chasing Klitschko.

I wonder if Wilder could fight Ruslan Chagaev for his WBA "regular" belt in a "unification" fight.
