Maybe they could get Lucas Browne over here too. It'd look better on TV. Two undefeated heavyweights. America vs Australia, however they'd market it.
Unless Andy Ruiz is ready for a championship fight, he's #8 in the WBC.Comment

I'm sure they will save Browne, or fury for later down the road.. I think for the first fight it will be someone ranked but not threatening... They want to introduce wilder to casuals and grow his name before he takes any major fights..
Browne-wilder would be a sweet fightComment

I think it will be Seth Mitchell. They don't want to risk Wilder looking bad (ala being David Priced by Thompson) and they don't want the opponent to be some chubby old guy either. Casuals won't care about records so long as the opponent looks like a body builder ... worked for Mike Tyson.Comment

Is Seth even making a comeback? I spoke to him about a year ago, and he was seriously considering retirement from the sport.I think it will be Seth Mitchell. The fights just sound uninteresting but Thompson is a top 10 heavyweight right now. Fury and Glazkov are chasing Klitschko.
I wonder if Wilder could fight Ruslan Chagaev for his WBA "regular" belt in a "unification" fight.Comment
