Former WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez would love to get the opportunity to step in the ring with Manny Pacquiao, who currently holds the WBO's welterweight title.

Pacquiao faces WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a huge fight on May 2nd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Canelo is back a week later, facing dangerous James Kirkland in Texas.

While a Canelo-Pacquiao fight has been mentioned several times by their teams, the weight is going to be a big issue. Pacquiao has never fought above 150-pounds and Canelo has stated that he won't fight any lower than 154.

Two completely different weight classes. Manny will not go up to a catchweight of 152-153, Canelo complained about 152lbs Mayweather so I don't see how he makes 150.
