So HBO is going to subsidize Arum's emotional power plays? It could happen but I doubt they will be happy paying Bradley $2 million and another million for K9 who will have to be paid well to pass up the Cotto bout.

It will be interesting how far HBO is willing to bend backwards for top rank, it's not like haymon doing SHO dirty last year. HBO works with other promoters.

maybe Cotto will learn that when his diva tactics mean it takes over 2 months to negotiate fights that should be wrapped up in 2 days, he might just lose opponents who dont want to sit around and wait for his majesty to decide........

It doesn't happen very often that fighters willingly take pay cuts when they are guaranteed a certain amount in writing.

And I don't agree that this will be an easy win, K9 might not be great but he's a legit top 5 jr middleweight .

That would be better for everyone watching the fight, but terrible for Cotto. I don't know if Cotto can win against a young, hungry, healthy middleweight. After that fight, we may just see Heiland defending the WBC title against GGG.
