I thought he wanted to fight Shawn Porter for that IBF title last year, but Kell Brook has it now so he doesn't want that Welterweight title he so badly wanted?

He should, there really isn't no one left to fight. There was a story that he might fight Manny if he beats Floyd, which I could see, because if Manny wins, he would go down as the best of this era, but if JMM beat him again, that would put JMM above Manny.
Manny-JMM 5 would be huge, if Manny beat Floyd, although JMM would have lost all the leverage he had, so Manny would be back to calling the shots. It would be a good way to close out their careers.

            Besides Pac-JMM 3 and 4,
JMM has done crap at 140 and above.

            Loss to Floyd
            Likar Ramos
            PAC-JMM 3
            Fedchenko
            PAC-JMM 4
            Loss to Bradley
            Beat Alvarado

So... At 140, he faces Ramos and Fedchenko.
At 147, he lost to Floyd, beat PAC, lost to Bradley and beat Alvarado

What makes things worse, is that he ducked a number of fighters along the way.

Not impressed. I don't know how and why he's ranked at welterweight and on many P4P rankings.

Besides PAC whom he'll always have a shot at beating, JMM won't beat many welterweights.

His time at 140 and above is an ILLUSION.

Marquez really wants to fight again, but the bum knee might be making it unrealistic at this point. He probably can't get through a training camp with it.
