There is no other factors behind it, except maybe that Hatton's team realizes that Witter would beat him. I can dig up a crap load of articles where Witter has called out Hatton but Hattons ducks and ducks and ducks. He doesn't want to fight a slick fast quick moving boxer until Mayweather for some reason.

Personally I dont see what all the hype is about Hatton. He seems to fight Old over the hill fighters and nobodies. I have been impressed with him in his last 2 fights However because he did what he had to do against Kostya which was to smother his punches and take away Kostya power. I was also impressed that he KOed the brick headed Mausa. He still has to prove to me that he can beat someone who is fast and slick though because he seems to duck those type of fighters. Its a shame really though cause witter would be an excellent tune up before a Mayweather showdown.

Hatton won't fight Witter until Witters becomes somebody, nobody in Britain knows who he is and it wouldn't be a big fight outside of the British boxing fraternity. Witter is in dreamland if he thinks that fight would be anywhere near as big as the Benn/Eubank/Watson fights. Plus it won't happen in Manchester because Warren owns rights to the MEN Arena now, and Hatton isn't a big draw outside of Manchester. So it's pointless fighting Witter in America - where nobody knows who he is either, when you can wait and see if Witter actually makes something of himself first and get more money for beating him up.

If Witter is such a nobody and would be such an easy win. Why didnt Hatton fight him instead of 35 - 40 year old over the hill fighters and guys with crappy records. instead of a live guy like witter who is young and has a good record? Well maybe Hatton will fight him when Witter turns 35 in 3 or 4 years.

Hatton offered him fights in 2001 and 2002, but Witter said he wasn't ready. They actually had a press conference to announce the fight in 2003, but Witter split with Warren before the fight could go ahead. After that, they both agreed to wait and let the fight grow. But since Hatton beat Tszyu, Witter has started bull****ting that Hatton had been ducking him.

witter's gonna have to bring something to the fight that hes never
brought before. also which high pressure fighters has he held off ?

i accept hatton hasnt fought a top slick fighter but nothing would
alter that whether he fights witter or not, witter just aint that good.

He is good enough to have only one defeat in his entire career and that was because he only had 9 days to prepare for the fight I think he could of won if he was able to prepare for it because it was against Judah. Also he is the one thats calling Hatton out not the other way around so I dont understand your comment about " What high pressure fighter has he held off". The fact of the matter is he wants to fight the High pressure fighter. Does Hatton want to fight the Slick fast quick boxer thats not 35 and older?

well hatton has lost how many ? lol less than witter. none to be exact.
also hatton is in form, witter hasnt really performed since n'dou.
i concede that witter will likely bring his a-game but will he
be able to hold off hatton. has anybody managed it yet. im just
not convinced by witter & cant see any reason why hatton would
avoid him. more likely warren has a hand in it. hatton had to
threaten to leave before warren landed him a big fight. politics

Ok I will concede to the Warren politics deal. I want to see Witter get a fair crack at somebody. For someone who isnt supposed to be that good everyone and there momma seems to be ducking him.
