Double posted so I'll take this opportunity to put in my 2 cents. I agree with Buboy but Pacquiao's level of aggression has to return to the ferociousness it once was, that means we need a vintage Pacman mixed in with the more alert boxer he has developed into. I don't think "Countering the counterpuncher" would be the key to success, relentless pressure mixed with speed and angles would, imo.

I'm actually rooting for Pacquiao but I don't mind Mayweather winning. Either way NBS will be ripe for the picking and I will be here picking on the bones of the losing side Can't wait for this to be over

If Manny can maintain a steady barrage of "volume" punches past the 5th or 6th round then I believe he has a great chance against Floyd.

The problem is that Floyd isn't going to stand in front of Pac like mostly ALL of Manny's prior opponents. I guarantee Manny will be gassed out by the 6th round and Floyd's size, speed, and experience is going to overwhelm Pac.

If Floyd wins then it was expected. But if Manny wins its will be a victory for the ages.

WOW some of the comments made against Buboy just recomfirms why floyd fans are the laughing stock of boxing !!!!!!! i can understand dismissing buboys comments because there is a certain level of bias since he is affiliated with manny !!!!!!!! but to infer that buboy doesnt know what hes talking about because hes just mannys hang along friend is ****** !!!!!!!! E****IALLY comming from some of you guys who never even stepped in a gym let alone got to see up close a P4P ATG train !!!!! plus buboy has had the privelege of working with one of boxings all time great TRAINERS in FREDDIE ROACH!!!!!!! that alone gives buboy oppinon more weight than some of you computer geeks who never fighted in there life !!!!!!!! and even if you dont agree with buboys assesment , TELL US WHY break down why hes wrong instead of hurling mindless insults!!!!!!!! ill take the oppinion of someone like buboy than any of you floyd fans any day of the week !!!!!!!!! but then again im a compleatly unbiased boxing historian and insider !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's talking about training smarter not harder and fighting smarter not harder. There's only one strategy for someone who doesn't want to work hard and that's to make them work hard.
I am a huge Pac fan but I'm thinking Mayweather may be just as well conditioned as Pac maybe more so. The guy has always been a gym rat and that is one thing you know is, Floyd will be ready condition wise.

Mayweather is the longer fighter, great at controlling distance, I can't stretch that enough. Pacquiao will be forced to lunge and run into stuff.

People are being fooled by how unimpressive Mayweather has looked recently, his offense clicks much better against southpaws and this one so happens to be smaller.
Good Post That's what I see as well Floyd looked his absolute worst against Maidana but Pacquiao doesnt have the style to capitalize on it Matter of fact Manny is past it worse than Floyd is. Manny is also smaller and a more cautious fighter than before the Marquez KO.

Look at when he fought them

Larios, came up 2 divisions and both actually fought in the same division for some time....junior featherweight

Oscar hadn't looked good in several fights

Cotto hadn't looked impressive in several fights and took the besting off his life a few fights prior

Margarito another guy who hadn't looked impressive in sometime...fought for a title in a weight that neither were ranked in....at a catchweight

Marquez, got robbed in the 3rd fight, im sure team Pacquaio thought he couldn't handle the weight considering how Mayweather whitewashed him.....Major cherrypick fail

Those are nice names on the ledger, but recent form had to be taken into consideration and none of those guys looked impressive before he fought them.....smoke and mirrors
