I wanna say Roach is playing mind games but it seems like every day he is revealing something new about either Pacs training or what he sees in Mayweathers style.

that's why he's deadly in exchanges.

      even his d.

in exchanges, you see him duck, slip, parry very well.

when he thinks/plays d not so good unless opponent is really slow.

Maybe you should use the word over-thinking not thinking?

Guerrero tried to counter FMJ with combinations in there fight and got in a few body shots. But FMJ adjusted and you know what happened.

but if he makes 5/2 a thinking/boxing match.

might as well give him an L now.

he needs to make it a tough, wild fight. yes he might get KTFO but that's how he has a chance to win.
ur my favourite pacquiao fan, you actually speak sense....

Yup, when you hear that they want to keep it all hush hush and secretive then every day you hear multiple articles and interviews that state otherwise ...... well, it's cringe worthy!

Maybe Roach is doing it on purpose. Who knows.

These are the Mayweather traps let the other fighter punch himself out by losing the first half of the fight than out point the tired fighter in the 2nd half. Oscar did win 5 of the 6 rounds but lost the last 5 of 6 rounds which should have been a draw but people seem to forget the first half. Just like in Madaina first fight he won the first 5 of 6 rounds but won 2of the last 6 which should have gave him the fight by winning 7 rounds but most people don't understand boxing scoring they just remember the ending of the fight and say Mayweather won cause they lack of memory only remembers the last 3 rounds just like Oscar vs Tito when Trindad lost the first 9 rounds but wins the last 3

yeah he is right Floyd's timing is impeccable. he knows when it is time to fight Mosley, Cotto and now the time is right to fight Pac

he also knows the time when not to fight Tzyu, Williams, Sergio and Margarito

So how come so many posters on here always get mad and say Floyd needs to fight toe to toe?

I know you don't say this just calling out the BS cause your answer was perfect for your discussion.

I always feel its the opponents fault for not being able to make the other fighter not do what they are best at.

cause they like toe to toe fights?

i like toe to toe fights too.

the thing is though. floyd rarely runs and does fight toe to toe.

it's just defensive toe to toe. he's right there they just can't hit him.

what i don't like about floyd is when he clinches.

i hate clinches. should be treated as taking a knee. lose a pt.

anybody can like toe to toe fights but you can't hate on a fighter cause they not fighing in a style that is more beneficial to their opponent. That is what a lot people do to Floyd IMO.

The bold is a flat lie to most people on this site.

Even though in reality its the truth.

The amount of clinching Floyd did in the 2nd Maidana fight was over the top.
