I think he has an excellent chance of beating all those guys listed. I think Murray would be the toughest fight for him.

People like to point out that Angulo was able to hurt Lara, but they leave out the fact that Lara stopped and ruined Angulo. And that's despite the fact that Richard Schaeffer told Lara he wasn't allowed to rehydrate past 164lbs, while Angulo was allowed to come in at 174lbs.

Furthermore, Angulo was able to hurt Lara, but how come if he's so fragile Saul Alvarez, Vanes Matirosyn & Paul Williams weren't able too?
Please don't compare Lara to Hagler. But anyways Lara isn't 5'9 that's for sure, he looked shorter than Canelo, who's also listed at 5'9 but was the same height as Floyd when they fought! It's not the first time fighters heights are not listed correctly.

I didn't forget that he beat down Angulo, he wasn't the first to do it won't be the last. Kirkland and the US government made sure he was fading fast! What I'm saying is that he was able to repeatedly tag him.

I don't rate Vanes but he made life difficult for Lara too, but doesn't possess much by way of Power. And the Williams fight may just be Lara's zenith, I agree he looked great that night! Williams was always susceptible to southpaws and boxers in general, he lacked balance.

I'm a fan of Canelo, but he is a strange case, he seems to like to play to his opponents strengths. Boxing with boxers and trading with sluggers. I thought the Lara fight was a draw, but I wasn't too impressed with either guy. If Lara is the second coming of Rigo then why couldn't he manage to outbox Canelo like Floyd? I mean he is bigger and should possess more power than Floyd, but Lara couldn't!

Look, when Lara struggles it's when he's pressured by fighters. Quillin, Murray, N'Dam are going to do that, now that I think Geales pressure and awkwardness would also trouble him so I'm gonna change my prediction for that too..

Lee as I've stated has huge reach advantage, and seems to always find home for that hook, and left straight which are bombs, I just think that the forums here give Lara waay to much credit! He would struggle mightily versus all these guys.

The only ones I'm really unsure about are Murray and N'Dam. I'm fairly confident Lara beats the rest.

Lara would completely embarrass Quillin. I don't like to make a statement like that regarding Lara, but Quillin is a poor man's Alvarez. Lara would have an easy time with him.

Geale shouldn't be on the list.

What about BJS or Eubank jr

The majority of you think Lara beats them all? On what basis? He lost to the best LMW he has ever faced and got hammered till Angulo eventually gave up. What makes you think his chin or heart can take the punishment a bigger man will dish out? Not to mention all those names are quicker than Angulo and Canelo.

                Jeez!

I have Murray (too big), Lee, N'Dam (hit too hard, both mobile).

Geale-Lara is 50/50 but I had to choose one of them, went with the seasoned MW but it's a fight I could see Lara winning.

I think he beats Quillin because I don't see Quillin cutting off the ring as front-foot guy.

It's funny how perceptions go though looking at the polls.

Different perceptions. Lara was down against Angulo twice too, and I had AA up a point on the cards went it was stopped.

Quillin is a little bit underrated I think. He's uncomfortable when he's being pressured and forced to fight off the backfoot, but Lara's style and low workrate would help him in that regard. His power would also be a big problem for Lara.

The toughest fight for Lara in my opinion would be N'dam, because he has the height & reach, jab, handspeed and footwork to outbox him. It's also worth noting that Lara, who is not a big jr. middleweight at all, would be at a significant size disadvantage against all these guys.
