Lets be real, unless you were a hardcore fan, no one even knew who Manny was until he beat Lehlo Ledwaba @ 122, and Barrera made him a star @ 126

Sure Manny was young but he was taking "L's" to the the torrecampo's, and Singsurat's of the world, while Mayweather was fighter of the year in 1998, undefeated and already being lauded as a future great. No one thought Manny was gonna be great until the Barrera win, I think my first time seeing him LIVE was when he knocked out FORMER champ Jorge Elicier Julio and I knew he'd be a special fighter....The thing about Mayweather is that people knew when he was a teenager he was destined for greatness....Manny did kinda come out of no where bro.....he was struggling with average guys, then all of a sudden he goes on that run from 122-147

Just to clear some misconceptions on his loses.

The Torrecampo KO happened when they both came forward and a violent collision happened between Pac's chin and Torrecampo's shoulder.

The Singsurat loss happened because he drained trying to make weight that he failed, he lost the title on the scales and he had no energy in the fight. He moved up 2 divisions after the fight.

The Morales loss was due to blood from a head butt that blocked his vision on his right eye from the 5th round onward.

The Bradley loss was due to robbery.

The Marquez loss was due to Pac tripping on Marquez foot and falling uncontrolled into Marquez' punch.
