Comments Thread For: Roman Gonzalez: My Mission is To Knock Sosa Out!

Román "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (42-0, 36 KOs) is very motivated to put on a show when he defends his WBC flyweight title against Mexican Edgar Sosa (51-8, 30 KOs) at the legendary Forum in Inglewood, California. The triple world champion will sacrifice a little money in his pocket, but on the other hand he will have the opportunity on May 16 to showcase himself to millions of fans through HBO.

Roman already beat his 'Pacquiao' in Estrada.
Except for that Estrada was the bigger guy and that they met in their early primes
    What a fight that was...
If May vs Pac looks a little like that I'd be more than satisfied

Estrada was the bigger guy? It was a weight drained Estrada and he still gave Roman that work the first half of the fight, until his gas tank ran dry and he still pushed Roman to the limit.

This going to be a good fight. Edgar Sosa ain't no cup cake.

I had him beating Akira Yaegashi too, Yaegashi didn't do enough to take Sosa's belt in that fight.

Sosa is strong as hell, he had Yaegashi running around the ring all night afraid to exchange. The same Yaegashi that went to war with Gonzalez 2 fights later.

Sosa's a very live dog in this fight.

I'm jazzed Chocolatito is getting TV time, he deserves the exposure.
Hopefully he comes out looking to impress.
