Anthony ‘Can You Dig It’ Yigit (12-0-1, 5 KOs) aims to prove he is ready to rule the European light welterweight scene by beating Timo Schwarzkopf (14-0, 8 KOs) on Saturday night at the StadtHalle in Rostock.
The Stockholm-fighter faces the undefeated German on the undercard of Juergen Braehmer’s WBA World Light Heavyweight title defence against Robin Krasniqi. Having already cleaned up the Scandinavian light welterweight division, with victories over Danish rivals Kim Poulsen and Kasper Bruun, the London 2012 Olympian has set his sights on Europe’s elite.
