Marquez couldn't knock down Pacquiao in 3 previous fights. Not only KO's him but drops him like a log with the first haymaker he connected in the 4th fight, an overhand right he hit Pacquiao with several times before.

Mayweather could KO Pacquiao. Pacquiao better not get hit cleanly if he doesn't want to sleep on the canvass again.

If it were so easy to knock pacquiao down, he would be getting knocked down a lot then right? Hes been hit flush with bombs from almost every fighter he has faced and who has managed to knock him down? Marquez and that's about it for the last 15 years or so. He may appear to be throwing punches off balance, but he has such phenominal footwork and core strength, he really isn't. If he were that much off balance surely cotto or margarito or hit man Hatton or Morales or any number of world class punchers should have at least been able to score one knockdown collectively. It took Marquez 3 and a half fight and a bunch of steroids to finally floor Manny pacquiao. Floyds only hope for a win is to Ko Manny pacquiao and I just don't see it happening unless Floyd really has been using memo and steroids, but the more likely scenario is the mayweathers are trying to use the Marquez Ko to get in mannys head so that he wont be as aggressive as usual which would give mayweather the chance to win. If Manny fights full throttle like in Marquez 4 I guarantee pacquiao will win. He does not have to worry about the Ko

Roger may be better than Sr. But Sr is prob still better than Roach so it doesn't really matter. The problem is Sr's fighter is technically superior.

All Roach can hope for is Pac to land a lucky shot.

Roach's verbal diarrhea is long past boring and inconsequential. He has talked more trash this fight than any other, because he is extremely worried that the Pac money-train is finally over. Pac is a great fighter, do not get me wrong, but Roach knows his fighter is not the same at WW. Sure he has speed and power, granted, but he is just unable to put anyone away at WW. I do not even count the Cotto stoppage because there was ~1 min left in the right and Cotto was drained down to 142-144 lbs if I remember correctly? If you watch all Pac's fights since all the times he has put anyone down it was speed/pop knockdown not power/bomb knockdown. Anything can happen with the right shot but I just cannot see where Pac can KO Floyd. Roach can say what he wants but watch any Pac fight, he just does not make adjustments or fight any differently over the years. Sure Roach added a more evolved right hook but that is it, nothing else. Pac fights one way and that is who he is. He has no defense and believe it or not, pretty bad technical competency. He is just physically gifted with speed, angles and footwork it compensates for that. I will sum this fight up in one phrase. "Floyd will be playing chess while Manny plays checkers."

I think Pac/Roach need to be worried that Floyd ISN'T talking crap and acting idiotic. That means he is 100% in the zone and laser focused I am sure. Pac has a good chance to win but I just do not see it, unless its some haymaker or BS decision because the world hates Floyd's 0 loss record.

I really do see a knockout happening in this fight. This is the biggest fight in both of their careers and it would be ******.of them to let it go to a decision. If I'm Manny pacquiao I would go all out like in Marquez 4 and knock mayweather out. Marquez said himself Manny was going to knock him out at any time. Mayweather does t have the power I dont think to Ko Manny. Did you see mannys neck at the conference? Manny will win by Ko, mark may 2nd on the calendar you Floyd groupies

Pacs problem, is that he will have to be accurate to be effective.

Why do you think that Roach has recently stated repaetedly that Pac will need to be nearly perfect to win.

I do not believe that the "overcome him with volume" strategy will work at all against mayweather in this fight, you would need a significant physical advantage for that to be even slightly effective, like Maidana had. Mayweather is too accurate.
