  • Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury-Erkan Teper Purse Bid Set For April 13th

German heavyweight Erkan Teper was appointed official challenger for EBU champ Tyson Fury on January 22 and there was then a period for private negotiations. No agreement has been reached and the EBU are now calling for purse bids. Bids received will be opened April 13 at noon (Rome time).

Teper, now 14-0, won the vacant IBF I/C title this past weekend with a unanimous points win over Frenchman Johan Duhaupas (31-2). [Click Here To Read More]

He is kind of on a bum carousel lately, Chisora after he soundly beat him already, this Hammer guy, now some guy I never heard of?

Actually he has no real notable wins other than Chisora and maybe you could consider Johnson but not USS that guys is a lanky medium framed Crusier.

he's just treading water until wlad fights him. it's a bad move imo as i still think he has a lot of learning to do before he is even competitive with wlad. by the end of the year he'll likely have two or three wins over bums and a brutal ko loss against wlad on his record... that's basically game over

This slow, clumsy-stiff ducked Alexander Ustinov to go on a journey-men destruction spree

Fury stops him in Dos Rounds.

Frankly, I am tired of Wilder and Wlad making excuses to not face the future p4p king Tyson "Too fast and too skilled to be recognized by NSB" Fury.

He would be better off fighting Shannon Briggs, sadly it would be one of if not his most notable win if he won.

I honestly think Ustinov would of KO'd Fury. Too much beef.

If you think about it Fury is massively overrated based on what he has done, no one he has beaten was very good at the time he beat them or had any real noteworthy wins over good prime opponents so why is he considered top 5 at HW?
