I'm surprised most people have voted yes

Golovkin is clearly better than kova IMO and since both are at similar stages of their respective careers and similar age, I don't see kova surpassing ggg in the p4p list

He's the more technically proficient fighter

Kova often finds himself off balance when he's swinging away.

Before I thought kova was packing glass because he got knocked out in amateurs and knocked down in previous pro fights but he proved in pascal fight that he has a good chin. Pascal has pretty good power but the best shots pascal caught kova with were after the first knockdown so that makes me wonder if pascal didn't have his legs fully under him to generate enough power to knock kova down.

So even though kova has a decent chin, it isn't as Golovkins who has a great chin. Both kova are confident in their chin and that's why they leave themselves open at times

Kova gets hit flush with shots
      Golovkin rolls with the punches

P4p, Kova is faster and more athletic

Golovkin is the better overall fighter

That's all "in my eyes" opinion though. Kovalev has a better professional resume.

Guess it depends what year you're living in. To be sure his resume blows away just about everyone but he's semi-retired.

As compared to Golovkin, Kovalev got lucky: B-Hop chose him to pass the torch... Golovkin is more avoided because his more accurate boxing style -- which actually discourages all potential opponents.

What makes Ward so special? He doesn't even fight at 175. Better yet, he doesn't even fight at all.

I think he is in the top 5 with GGG, Rigo, Mayweather and Pacquiao in no particular order.
I think pretty much the same as this.

I don't either, and I'm a Golovkin fan. Right now, I think Serg has the edge. Its not gigantic, but I think hes just a tad bit better.
