I thought I was crazy for thinking something was off with the crows and in particular the crowd noise, almost seemed like pumping in fake crowd noise.

For the record I want Haymons Pbc series to be successful.

This stance is more pathetic to people acting as "accountants." To completely overlook an important facet of boxing- the business side- is inexcusable.

        Free tix doe.

Then I guess companies like the NFL, NBA, MTV, ABC, ESPN & other networks should be kicking themselves for using this company as well for a good amount their events huh?

Or are we gonna complain yet again about something else that Haymon's doing that other boxing promoters didn't think of?

They had TWO advertisers on NBC, Corona Beer and Travel.com, and they sure as hell didn't pay a couple of million to advertise on a network program with under 10 million viewers.

Please tell me you think this is a desperation move and not a thought out business decision

Did I say desperation? No. Where is this even coming from? I haven't even mentioned anything related to business, accounting or decision-making. I'm just pointing out how some posters, like yourself, completely discount posters' opinions who bring into the discussion the business-side of boxing. What is the problem with discussing the purses, ratings, ticket sales, etc.? Sure, it's a discussion based on the information disseminated to the public, and necessarily involves speculation, but how is your stance the alternative? That's what I want to understand.

How is my post a complaint? What are you even talking about? How is this even responsive to my post? Seriously, did you misquote me?

You're essentially talking to yourself, or a group of posters that does not include myself. For the record, since you seem to know something about me that I don't, I have no interest in the promoter/managerial war that happens on this board, except trolling both sides for my own enjoyment.

Keep setting up them strawmen, though. Can't lose an argument when you're arguing with yourself.

they could rob the boxers blind. set up any fight the fans want.

a regular schedule. say 4 fights per top fighter a year.

they get rich, fans get every fight they want. only loser is the top boxer.
I don't think that would work. As far as I am aware, the UFC Model has created the company a lot of debt.
