I don't get it, why not just sell the tickets for affordable price here at NSB? They'll get sometihng back and at least the audience will be happy to be there lol.

Totally agree. Kim and his puppet Montoya are 2 of the biggest negative journalist in boxing. It's incredible clear they have an agenda of some sorts.

Lol Steve Kim bitter as hell PBC doesn't give him media credentials. You'll never see him say anything good about a Haymon fighter.

Danny Garcia has more of a fanbase than Thurman and Berto. Plus he regularly fights in BK and Peterson can fill seats nearby in DC.

If THAT fight fails to sell, then Al has some serious problems. But I think that's the fight to be used as the measuring stick because you have to established fighters and an undefeated champion that's building his name.

it's still pretty bad when you can't sell out with local fighters like Arreola and Lopez on the bill

Are you suggesting Haymon used the local morgue?

Yeah, they're both from Riverside too.

I think people would actually be behind Arreola more if he took his career seriously, and didn't come in looking like some fat cholo off the street corner.

I won't bother watching that fight. I don't give a damn about watching two title holders in a 10 round catch weight fight with no title at stake. That would be like telling me that this year the NHL Stanley Cup finals will be 10 minute periods with no body checking allowed. What's the point?

It's kind of a habit for Haymon. Back when they had Tarver/Kayode, Trout/Rodriguez, Cruz/Malinga, and Quillin/Wright at Stub Hub, they only sold 1,200 tickets and comp'd out over 5,800.
