all time great trainers who never won trainer of the year by bwaa

Accolades don't always illustrate the worth of great athletes or trainers. Most awards are popularity or notoriety based so often times, more deserving or less beloved guys are overlooked

For example, Kobe Bryant is a 5 time NBA champion, a top 10-20 atg player, 10+ all star teams, scored 80+ points in one game....was considered the best player of his generation and won one league MVP....yes.... 1...others were more beloved

Here are some oft over looked trainers

Nacho Beristein...who trained Gilberto roman, the Marquez brothers, Daniel Zaragoza, atg Ricardo Lopez, etc

Naazim Richardson....trained SSM, Hopkins, Steve Cunningham etc

Roger may weather.... Laila Ali, money may, various other champs, kids. Prospects., etc

Others....Floyd may weather sr, Kevin Cunningham, Yoel judah, fritz sdunek, Brendan ingle....just showing love to some of the best overlooked trainers...boxing has a lot of great trainers...shot out to my old trainer merhav mohar

BWAA gets it wrong all the time

They voted roach for trainer of year for 2013

Just proves most boxing writers have little clue what they are on about.

Roach is a great trainer...especially on offense...I think trainers, pros, and fans should have more a say....especially the fighters
