That is a non-negotiable and unless you were there, you don't know details beyond the common knowledge of "NO PPV!" so you cant say that Floyd compromised and Pac wouldn't accept. The world knows Floyd said NO PPV. His Diva attitude caused another roadblock, simple!

Pacquiao said he would take less so Floyd coming with a lower offer was in response to that. Also the leave your promoter comment was said in the media not during any negotiation between them. How has Floyd been a diva when he accepted a $10Mil weight penalty clause prior? And 50/50 money split? Manny almost walked away from the Hatton fight over money and the Cotto fight because he wanted Cotto to put his title up at a 145 catch weight when Cotto didn't want to. Facts are what tell the tale, not what I or you think happened.

If ignorance and denial are bliss, you are on cloud 9! Floyd put up road blocks, FACT!

Floyd said he would never work with Arum but it never was a problem at the table, so it is not a road block but rather words that held no water during negotiations. Manny refusing the testing because the commission should do their jobs is a road block. Listen man.... you are a stubborn guy and looking to place blame where there is known on Mayweather regarding in past trying to make this fight so I will not blame him for it. You just continue to get led by the masses with their opinions and we go our separate thinking ways.

And when Floyd said he would not work with Arum, that stopped any potential negotiations at that time. I don't go by what masses say, I look at the scenarios myself and it concurs with what the masses say. Done.

Both said a lot in the press but Floyd was down to fight. Stop bringing up the Arum thing because neither was negotiating at the time so it was no road block. It would have been a road block if Floyd would have not made the fight this time around because of Arum. What Floyd said has no relevance because he tried 2 times to make the fight and the 3rd time was a charm. Arum did not play a factor in the fight not getting made from Floyd side. Considering Floyd and Arum had beef way before the Pacquiao negotiations. 40 Mil flat fee was a low ball offer not a road block because it could have been negotiated but Pacquiao turned it down by counter offering. That's called negotiating. There are a large number of people who blame Mayweather for everything so no, what the masses think doesn't mean squat to me. Pacquiao's side killed the fight at it's peak everything else after till now was for the media.Last edited by richardt; 03-21-2015, 02:09 AM.

I AM NOT THINKING ABOUT BOXING, I AM ON VACATION is a ROADBLOCK, I WILL NOT WORK WITH ARUM is a ROADBLOCK, PERIOD!
By Chris Williams: After turning down a $40 million offer for a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2012 in saying that he wanted a 50-50 deal, Manny Pacquiao has suddenly changed his tune for some reason. He's now saying he'll fight Mayweather for free, as long as he agrees to the same thing. Pacquiao wants to give the money to charity. What changed Pacquiao's mind to want to give his entire purse away to charity?
Pacquiao said to the Inquirer I challenge him to include in our fight contract that both of us will not receive anything out of this fight. We will donate all the proceeds of the fight to charities around the world.
Turns down 40Mil 35% PPV to later say he would fight for free and give his money to charity. That in itself can be considered a road block because he knows damn well Mayweather ain't fighting for free. Do you see the B.S. this guy has been shoveling over the years? Nice effort but you lost bruh! No facts to back up anything you debated me about. Apparently you are living in a fantasy world. I am just glad the fight was made and kudos for Manny getting his 80Mil.Last edited by GRUSTLER; 03-21-2015, 07:23 AM.
