Hopefully Kovalev and Main Events get their heads out of their asses regarding the purse bid for the Stevenson fight after this. The WBC is willing to give them 2nd and 3rd and 4th chances, and Duva asked for it.

What needs to happen is for Duva and HBO to allow Kovalev to have ONE fight away from HBO on a Haymon network, because he will win the purse bid.

It would be nice if Duva and Rabyinski could work something out and win the purse bid, but Main Events simply doesn't have the money to win it on their own.

I'm extremely pissed that I have to miss this fight as I've been looking forward to it. Aparantly according to an email they sent me, HBO Canada didn't get the broadcasting rights to air this and will only be showing it through HBO PPV. What's worse is that my ****** digital cable provider (Rogers) won't be showing it on PPV either and have no plans of doing so.
