Former WBA 'regular' light welterweight champion Khabib Allakhverdiev (19-1, 9 KOs) is seeking for a new career path, according to Allboxing.ru. Rabked #4 by the WBA at 140 lbs, Allakhverdiev has been working with powerful boxing manager/promoter/adviser Vladimir Hryunov for the last three years.
“I want to begin from the very beginning. I’m now a free agent, and I’ll start looking for a new partnership very soon, seeking a team, which helps me get another title opportunity," said the 32-year old.
