Gennady Golovkin’s campaign at 160 isn’t over just yet. He’s facing prospect Willie Monroe Jr. on May 16 in Los Angeles, and trainer Abel Sanchez says the hope is to face other middleweight titleholders in 2015 before moving up to super middleweight in 2016.
There are three big-name opponents at 168 that Sanchez believes are realistic: Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., titleholder Carl Froch, and lineal champion Andre Ward.
