ANTHONY CROLLA is targeting the winner of the Derry Mathews-Richard Abril fight after passing a brain scan. The Manchester lightweight suffered a fractured skull and a broken ankle after stopping a burglary at a neighbour's house in December.

Crolla's career was in doubt after he had a concrete slab dropped on his head. A shot at Cuban Abril's WBA world title in January had to be scrapped but Crolla, 28, is now planning on a ring return in late May.

ok, crolla says his neighbour was away on holiday, yet he said he heard the burglars making noise, so he called the neighbours, why would he call if he knows theyre not there? then he said he actually heard the alarm go off, so why would he call? why not call the cops?. then he said they were in his garden but then he says he followed them and caught up with them about 3 gardens away where the incident happened, he caught one of them but rather than the other one running off he decided to find a slab in the pitch dark and hits crolla with it, before fleeing oh and the cherry on the cake is NO CHARGES HAVE BEEN MADE THEYVE ALL BEEN DROPPED BY THE PLAINTIFF?!!!. they let him go without charge.

they never brought a slab down on his head anyway, it says they threw a peice of concrete or brick, basically they threw a stone at him! and obviosuly they didnt mean to fracture his head. omg its even more obvious now. just look at anthony he looks so staged, i dont blame him, i blame joe gallagher the psycho.

There has been no court case. From what I've read, the police arrested some kid and then released him without charge probably due to lack of evidence.

Why and how would Joe Gallagher (lol) stage something so elaborate when they could just say he got a virus or a back injury or something?

And to pull out of a fight against Abril who isn't exactly a monster for your highest purse in your hometown.

It did cross my mind that it might not have been burgulars. Maybe it was a drug deal or something but Joe Gallagher staging the event is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. What is it with you and Joe Gallagher? Did he bum you in he showers at his gym or something?
