ANTHONY CROLLA is targeting the winner of the Derry Mathews-Richard Abril fight after passing a brain scan. The Manchester lightweight suffered a fractured skull and a broken ankle after stopping a burglary at a neighbour's house in December.
Crolla's career was in doubt after he had a concrete slab dropped on his head. A shot at Cuban Abril's WBA world title in January had to be scrapped but Crolla, 28, is now planning on a ring return in late May.
